Ο Άγιος Κύριλλος Αρχιεπίσκοπος Αλεξανδρείας

Η μνήμη  του  Αγίου Κυρίλλου,  Αρχιεπισκόπου  Αλεξανδρείας,   τιμάται  από   την    Εκκλησία   στις  18  Ιανουαρίου,  όπου  και  ο  Βίος  του.  Στον  Κώδικα  227   Πετρουπόλεως  κατά    την   9^η   Ιουνίου  σημειώνεται   η  «μνήμη  ανακομιδής  του   Αγίου   Κυρίλλου».   Κατά   την   ημέρα   αυτή της   μνήμης   του  Αγίου   αναφέρονται    τα    ακόλουθα   δίστιχα:

«Κύριλλον   υμνώ    του    Κυρίου   μου   φίλον

και    Κυρίας  πρόμαχον    Αειπαρθένου».

«Θανών    Κύριλλος    της    Αλεξάνδρου   Πάπας
προς  Κύριον  μετήλθε  πάντων   Κυρίων».

Απολυτίκιον.  Ήχος    δ’.   Ταχύ  προκατάλαβε.

Ως  κύρος  ουράνιον,  θεολογία  η  ση, βραβεύει  εν  Πνεύματι,  τη  Εκκλησία  Χριστού,   την   χάριν   την   ένθεον·  συ  γαρ  καθυπογράψας της   Τριάδος την δόξαν, μύστης της   Θεοτόκου,   και   υπέρμαχος   ώφθης, παρ’ ής   λαμπρώς  δεδόξασαι,   Ιεράρχα  Κύριλλε.

Έτερον   Απολυτίκιον. Ήχος   πλ. α’.   Τον   συνάναρχον  Λόγον.       
Τη  σοφία  τη   θεία   καλλωπιζόμενος,   της   Συνόδου   της   τρίτης εδείχθης   έξαρχος, και καθείλες τον δεινόν Πάτερ Νεστόριον, και  Θεοτόκον την Αγνήν,  ανεκήρυξας  λαμπρώς,  ω  Κύριλλε  Ιεράρχα,  Αλεξανδρέων    η    δόξα,   της    Εκκλησίας    οδιδάσκαλος.

Τας των αιρέσεων πλοκάς διαρρήξας, εν τη δυνάμει του  Χριστού  θείοις  λόγοις, την  Εκκλησίαν Κύριλλε  επλούτισας,  πάντα  τα  ζιζάνια,  Νεστορίου   εκκόψας· όθεν  και  παρίστασαι,   συν    Αγγέλων   χορείαις,  Χριστώ  πρεσβεύων μάκαρ εκτενώς,  πάσι  πταισμάτων,  δωρήσασθαι  άφεσιν.

Άβυσσον  ημίν,   δογμάτων  θεολογίας,  έβλυσας  σαφώς,  εκ    των    πηγών  του Σωτήρος, τας αιρέσεις κατακλύζουσαν μακάριε, και το ποίμνιον  αλώβητον,   τρικυμίαις  διασώζουσαν·   των   περάτων   και   γαρ  Όσιε,    υπάρχεις    καθηγητής,   ως    τα    θεία    σοφών.

Ρήτωρ   ευσεβείας αναδειχθείς, δογμάτων τον λόγον, θεηγόρως   διατρανοίς, και την του Σωτήρος, πανάφθορον   Μητέρα, κηρύττεις Θεοτόκον,   πάνσοφε  Κύριλλε.
