Να,    συν    τοις  άλλοις,  πως  η  Εκκλησία  υμνεί  τον  αρχάγγελο  Γαβριήλ   σ’ αυτή  τη  γιορτή   του:   «Θρόνω   παριστάμενος    της   τρισηλίου  Θεότητας   και   πλουσίως   λαμπόμενος,  ταις   θείαις   λαμπρότησι,  ταις εκπεμπομέναις   ,απαύστως  εκείθεν,  τους  επί  γης χαρμονικώς, χοροστατούντας και  ευφημούντας σε,  παθών αχλύος  λύτρωσαι,  και φωτισμώ   καταλάμπρυνον,  Γαβριήλ  Αρχιστράτηγε, πρεσβευτά   των   ψυχών    ημών.  Των   ασωμάτων  λειτουργών  ως πρωτεύων,    το    προ  αιώνων ορισθέν  όντως μέγα,  συ  Γαβριήλ πεπίστευσαι   μυστήριον, τόκον  τον   απόρρητον,  της  αγίας   Παρθένου,  Χαίρε, προσφωνών   αύτη,    η    κεχαριτωμένη.   Χρεωστικώς   σε    όθεν    οι  πιστοί,    εν    ευφροσύνη    αεί  μακαρίζαμεν».
