Saint John the Chrysostom Archbishop of Constantinople

This great father and teacher of the Eastern Orthodox Church was born in Antioch in 347 AD. His father was General Second and his mother, Anthousa. He quickly became an orphan from a father, and his mother - a widow then 20 years old - nurtured and educated him in the best Christian way.
He was a brilliant mind and studied many sciences in Antioch, near the then famous Lebanon orator, but also in Athens, along with his beloved friend, M. King. When he finished his studies, he returned to Antioch and retired to the desert for five years, practicing praying and studying the Holy Scriptures.
He suffered but returned to Antioch, where he was ordained deacon - 381, at the age of 34 - by Archbishop of Antioch Meletios. Later on, by the successor of Meletius Flavianos, a senior at the age of 40.
During his priestly ministry he developed all his mental gifts, a fiery divine zeal and unprecedented eloquence in his sermons. It sowed and converged the crowds of Antioch and moved their souls deeply. His reputation reached its reign, and on December 15, 397, jointly voted King Arkadi and Cleric, he became Patriarch of Constantinople, something he never sought.
And from this place, the Chrysostom, among other things, was a strict ascetic and prominent interpreter of the Bible, as shown by his many writings (about 804 speeches were rescued).
The work of Chrysostom is also the Divine Liturgy, which takes place almost every Sunday, with only a few conversions ever since. Sacred Chrysostom during his patriarchy, he was an inexorable controller of all illegality and malice. But this was the reason to create terrible enemies, and this Empress Evdoxia, in fact, because it controlled its illegality. In fact, in collaboration with the then patriarch of the Theophilos (a wicked and wicked man), he summoned a session (unlawful) from 36 bishops (all of them spiritually suspicious and unhappy with the Saint) in the village of Dris of Chalkedon and succeeded in his demise and exile Saint in a village of Bithynia. This decision, however, was so exalted by the crowds that it was forced by Evdoxia to withdraw him from exile and to restore him to the throne with another incomplete judgment (402).
But shortly afterward, this wicked empress once again managed to exile the Saint (June 20, 404) in the Ark of Koukousos and from there to Komana, where after many hardships and other disasters died in 407 AD.
MJ Galanos, in his Synagogue, among other things, reports about Sanctuary Chrysostom, that he has been and is recognized as the most excellent and popular teacher of the Christian Church. No one explained the meaning of the divine Scriptures in such richness and clarity, nor was he similar in simulation, simplicity, but also in the flame and power of rhetoric. He has been an orator of a marvelous, literary unparalleled, profound and invasive, psychologist and amazing sociologist with a sense of Christian equality, without privileged, universal brotherhood.
It belongs to those who look "as lights in the world". That is, as bright stars in the world.
Let us note here that the sanctuary Chrysostom died on September 14, but on the occasion of the celebration of the elevation of the Holy Cross, the memory of his memory was postponed on 13 November.
Also, on 15th of December, we celebrate his ordination to the Patriarch of Constantinople on January 27th the relics of his relics, but his memory is celebrated on 30th of January, along with the Great Kingdom and Ag. Gregory the Theologian.
Finally, on February 26, we celebrate the memory of his ordination to an elder.

Apolyticus. Sounds flat d '.
Your mouth was a torch, I glorified thanksgiving, the everlasting love of the world, treasures surrendered; the height of humility was given to me. But for the reasons of the educators, Father John Chrysostom, he worshiped the Lord Jesus Christ, save our souls.

Another Apolitikion. Sound c '. Divine Faith.
Mother of the Church, the Church, the inmost, the wisdom, we have become John the Chrysostom; a faded glory of the glory of the Spirit; life's reason for life is overflowing. Father Ossie, Christ the God begged, the gift of great mercy was given.

Kontakion. Sounds flat b '. Our favor.
From the heavens, I praise the divine grace, and through all your lips you teach all things, pray in Triad, the one God, John the Chrysostom, the paternal Ossie, eloquently eulogized in; you are a professor, as I
