CHAPTER 3 - CALLING OF THE MOSQUE AND THE FLASHING WATER
The call of Moses
Ex. 3: 1 And Moses did not eat the sheep of the goat of this priest Mediad, and took the sheep under the wilderness, and came to Mount Horeb.
Ex. 3,1 Moses used to feed the sheep of Jetor, the priest of that country of Midian, and brought these once beyond the wilderness to Mount Horeb.
Ex. 3,2 And the angel of the Lord went out with a flame of fire out of the midst, and saw that the fire was burning, and the wound was broken down.
Ex. 3,2 The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire, which came out of the bush. Surprisingly, this wreath was found, but it was not broken.
Ex. 3,3 Moses said; in the past I see the vision of this great thing, that I am burnt.
Ex. 3.3 For this reason Moses said, "let me come near to see this miraculous phenomenon of the bastion, which is burning but not burned."
Ex. 3,4 And when the LORD saw that he brought forth it, the LORD called it out of the bridle, saying, Moses, Moses. And he said, what is it?
Ex. 3.4 When the Lord saw that Moses was approaching the phenomenon, he called him out of the bush, saying, "Moses, Moses!" He did not say "what is it? What happens;"
Ex. 3,5 he said not; break up the shoe from off your feet; the place where you are, the holy land.
Ex. 3,5 God replied, "Do not come near here; lay it down and put off your shoes, for the place where you stand is holy ground!"
Ex. 3,6 And he said, I am the God of your father, God Abraham, and God Isaac, and God of Jacob. Moses turned away his face, and he was pardoned for insulting himself in the sight of God.
Ex. 3,6 Then he added, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." A full auspicious sacrifice, Moses worshiped the face elsewhere, for in fear and respect he did not throw his eyes on God who was before him.
Ex. 3,7 And the LORD said unto Moses, I saw the destruction of my people in Egypt, and their cry out of the overseers, because of their sorrow,
Ex. 3.7 The Lord said to Moses; "I saw very well, and I knew the great suffering of my people in Egypt, and heard their cry, which came out of their breasts, because of the hard oppression of the officers in the works. I knew very well the pain of them,
Ex. 3,8 And they came up out of the hand of the Egyptians, and brought them forth out of the land, and brought them into a land of good and much in a land offering milk and honey to the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amokites, and the Perezites, and Gergesian, The Jebusite
Ex. 3,8 And I went down to deliver them from the labor of the Egyptians, to bring them out of the land of Egypt, and to bring them to a fertile and great land, in the land flowing with milk and honey, to the place which the Canaanites, the Hittites , the Amorites, the Feresians, the Gergesians, the Eweites and the Jebusites.
Ex. 3,9 And now is the cry of the children of Israel unto me, and I am afraid of the affliction, when the Egyptians afflict them.
Ex. 3,9 And now behold, the shouting cry of the Israelites has come unto me, and I have seen the greatness of the affliction, with which the Egyptians oppress them.
Ex. 3,10 And now I will send a virgin to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and give my people Israel my son out of the land of Egypt.
Ex. 3,10 Therefore now will I send you to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, that I may bring forth my people from the land of Egypt, the people of Israel. "
Εξ. 3,4 ως δε είδε Κύριος ότι προσάγει ιδείν, εκάλεσεν αυτόν ο Κύριος εκ του βάτου λέγων· Μωυσή, Μωυσή. Ο δε είπε· τι εστι;
