Οι Άγιοι Ανδρόνικος και Ιουνία οι Απόστολοι

Οι   Άγιοι   Απόστολοι    Ανδρόνικος  και  Ιουνία   συγκαταλέγονται  ανάμεσα  στους  εβδομήκοντα  Αποστόλους  του  Κυρίου μας,  τους οποίους    εορτάζουμε  στις    4   Ιανουαρίου.

Απολυτίκιον.   Ήχος   α’.   Τον   τάφον   σου  Σωτήρ.      
Δυάς  φωτοειδής,   ιερών   Αποστόλων,   και   κήρυκες  Χριστού, ανεδείχθητε   κόσμω,   τοις  πάσι  κατασπείραντες,  το  της  χάριτος κήρυγμα· όθεν σήμερον, υμάς πιστώς  ευφημούμεν,   ω   Ανδρόνικε,  και  Ιουνία  θεόφρον,   Χριστόν  μεγαλύνοντες.

Ως  ευκλεείς,  των  Αποστόλων σύναυλοι,  και  αληθείς,  του  Ιησού  διάκονοι,   της    αυτού   συγκαταβάσεως,  ιεροφάντορες   εδείχθητε·  την  χάριν   γαρ    του    Πνεύματος   δεξάμενοι,    Ανδρόνικε  και  Ιουνία ένδοξοι,    ως   λύχνοι   τοις   πέρασιν  εφάνατε.

Παύλος  ο  ουράνιος  συγγενείς,  και  εν   Αποστόλοις,    επισήμους   υμάς καλεί,  Ανδρόνικε μάκαρ,  και  θεία  Ιουνία·  Χριστού  γαρ   θεηγόροι, ώφθητε   κήρυκες.

The Saints Andronikos and Junia the Apostles

The Apostles Andronikos and Junia are among the seventh Apostles of our Lord whom we celebrate on January 4th.

You are the light of the light, the holy Apostles, and the preachers of Christ, you have become worldly, in all the despondent, the grace of preaching; this day, you are faithfully elated, as Andronikus, and Junia the theologian, Christ the Greater.

As the elders of the Apostolic Congregations, and indeed of Jesus, deacons of this covenant, hierophants were manifested; the glories of the Spirit were right, Andronics and Junia were glorious, as lights on the cross.
